A Pod for Nomads

Some time ago, I had a dream about being on a train at sunset, and looking out the window to see fragments of a highway set on giant springs. Cars on the highway had hang gliders attached to their frames, and they were using the springs to launch themselves off into the distance. The exact phrase I remember writing down when I was halfway through waking up was "A strange little man in a world inhabited by the characters and places of our dreams is stuck on a surreal highway on suspension springs…he just wants to go home." I thought it would make for a fun illustration project, and here's the result, plus some other set dressing I've drawn from other dreams, and drawing inspiration from artists like Alex Andreev, Simon Stålenhag, and Facundo Diaz. Enjoy!
